Hi gang, My name is Thad Spruill . I was attached to EOD GRU2 or EOD GRULANT in Va. Bch.,Va, from 69-72. We started out in Key West underwater swimmer's school, then Ft McClellan , AL,, then Indianhead. Trying to locate any of the guys that were there at that time, Is anybody still alive :) ?. Let me know guys. Just last year, I ran into an old swim buddy that I had not seen in 50 yrs. here in Florida. Wow, did we have a lot to talk about.

I am looking for any and all EOD Techs from the original EODU-1 at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot Lualualei Hawaii. I am sure most of my older shipmates from 1962 - 64 has passed the bar but at 81 years young I am still hanging in there. If anyone knows how to contact the then LT Dick Dunbar I would appreciate a shoutout. My shipmate at the time was Frederic Rotzler which passed the bar a few years back... but there has to be a few of us old "salts" left over.
